2015 Trajet Reserve Pinot Noir

The 2015 Le Cadeau Trajet Reserve Pinot Noir was a journey into something new when owner Tom Mortimer and winemaker Steve Ryan had the idea to make an estate Pinot without any limits. The result was a four-barrel fermentation of 85% whole-cluster grapes aged in French oak for nearly 18 months. Rich and deep, yet surprisingly soft on the palate, the Trajet Reserve exhibits very well-integrated tannin. We anticipate long-term ageability with this wine.

Awarded 93 points by Vinous: "Powerful, mineral-accented cherry, dark berry and baking spice aromas. Expansive on the palate, offering intense, spice- and mineral-tinged raspberry, cherry and five-spice flavors with a late touch of mocha. Silky tannins build steadily and fold smoothly into the wine's energetic fruit on a very long finish."
