2017 Joleté Cabernet Wallula Vineyard

The meticulously farmed Wallula Vineyard is located in "The Benches" of Horse Heaven Hills, a prominent area above the Columbia River with extraordinary soil – a mix of glacial marine sediments left behind by the ancient Missoula floods. Planted in 1997 with Southern-facing vines at approx. 1100ft., Wallula has become one of the most sought-after vineyards in the state. The vineyard's proximity to the river is ideal, acting as an insulator from heat by day and providing a cooling effect at night.
