Awarded 93 points by Vinous: "Dark and elegant from the first tilt of the glass, the 2018 Syrah Reserve exudes class. A veil of exotic spices and dried violet florals lifts to reveal plum sauce and grilled herbs. It’s velvety-smooth with zesty acidity at its core, pumping masses of ripe red and black fruits offset by a savory, nearly salty tinge of minerality. The 2018 finishes dramatically long and staining, with a powerful core of primary concentration still in control as wood tannins frame the experience and hints of black olive resonate. There’s an inner harmony here to carry it for many years."
