2018 Trajet Reserve Pinot Noir

The 2018 Trajet Reserve Pinot Noir is a journey into something new for Le Cadeau Vineyard. In both the vineyard and the winery we have set no limits – all possibilities are open. The result during the 2018 harvest was a 4 barrel fermentation of 100% whole-cluster grapes from native yeast. It is deep and complex, yet soft on the palate with well integrated tannins that anticipate very long-term ageability.

Awarded 93 points by Vinous: "Intense aromas of red and blue fruit preserves, cola, candied flowers and baking spices carry a smoky mineral overtone. Concentrated and gently chewy in texture, offering appealing black raspberry, cherry liqueur and fruitcake flavors that spread out slowly with air. Delivers an appealing blend of power and finesse and finishes with steadily building tannins and strong, floral-driven persistence."
