It is inevitable each December that most of us look back at the year and think of the things we loved. Much to the chagrin of our spouses and partners, many of us also like to makes lists ranking our favorites!
For a wine critic, it is an important way to highlight the best bottles of the year in the massive sea of wine that is available to us all. (It is estimated that 63.5 million bottles of wine were sold last year just from Oregon alone!)
James Suckling, former senior editor of Wine Spectator for almost 30 years, just released his Top 100 Wine of the USA 2022 and we are delighted to be featured.
Rated 96 Points, our 2019 Diversité Pinot Noir is a gorgeous wine and we are proud to be in such great company on his year-end list. Cheers James!
Le Cadeau Vineyard 2019 Diversité Pinot Noir ($60) - "Dark strawberry with orange-peel and wet-earth aromas follow through to a full body with medium, creamy and round tannins and a savory finish. Beautiful, so delicious and polished. One for the cellar."
